We thank the City of Boynton Beach for hosting the League meetings at the Benvenuto Caterestaurant.

Board Meeting The Board approved C.A.P. Government Inc. membership application.

The board heard committee reports from the National League of Cities Policy Committees: Community & Economic Development, Human Development and Transportation & Infrastructure Services.

The board made the appointments to the 2016 Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council. They are as follows: Regulars: Councilwoman Anne Gerwig, Village of Wellington; Councilman Jeff Hmara, Village of Royal Palm Beach; Councilman Bruce Guyton, City of Riviera Beach; Councilmember Marcie Tinsley, City of Palm Beach Gardens; Mayor James DuBois, Town of Lake Park. Alternate appointments: Commissioner Paula Ryan, City of West Palm Beach; Commissioner Allie Biggs, City of Pahokee; Commissioner Mitch Katz, City of Delray Beach; Mayor Abby Brennan, Village of Tequesta; Councilman David Norris, Village of North Palm Beach.

Executive Director Richard Radcliffe reminded the board that the Tri-Cities Barbeque will be held on Friday December 4th. He asked that anyone who would like to make a contribution can contact the League office and to not forgot to bring a toy.

General Membership Boynton Beach Mayor Jerry Taylor welcomed the membership to Boynton Beach.

The Literacy Coalition's Read for the Record results were revealed.

Our featured speaker was FLC President Matt Surrency and Representative Kristin Jacobs regarding President Surrency's Florida Regional Compact Initiative.

Next month there will be no League meeting. We will be at the Belle Glade Marina on December 4th for the Tri-Cities Barbeque. The next League meeting will be at the Hilton Airport on January 27th.
