County / Regional Committees
The League is represented on several state, regional and county committees and boards. Appointments are approved by the Board of Directors and must be ratified by both the League's General Membership and the committee's governing body. Members are notified of county/regional committee openings via e-mail notification to the municipal managers.

Committee Openings
Advisory Boundary Committee - Two Seats
Open to: All. Meetings: At least monthly. Term: 1 cycle Purpose: Assists District staff in working with the community to develop recommendations for establishment/adjustments to attendance boundaries to accommodate the opening of new schools, to ensure optimal facility utilization, and/or to accommodate space needs for program changes.
Community Land Trust - One Seat
Open to: Municipal elected officials and staff. Meetings: 4th Fridays, 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 in West Palm Beach. Terms: 2 years. Purpose: The Community Land Trust is a non-profit organization created to provide affordable housing opportunities to residents of Palm Beach County.

Impact Fee Review Committee
Open to: Elected officials. Meetings: Quarterly. Terms: 3 years. Duties: Submit reports to the Board of County Commissioners relating to implementation of Art. 10, Impact Fees; actual levels of service for the impact fees exacted in Art. 10; collection, encumbrance and expenditure of all impact fees; validity of the assumptions in the technical memoranda used to support the impact fee schedules.
Water Resource Task Force - One Alternate Seat
Open to: Elected officials. Meetings: Every other month, 3rd Thursday, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. No term expiration. Duties: Identify/evaluate opportunities and impediments to providing future water supply, conservation, wastewater treatment, and reuse or reclaimed water opportunities that are most efficient and cost effective.
Water Resource Task Force Technical Group - One Seat
Open to: Municipal employees with a background in water utilities. Meetings: As scheduled by the Chair. No term expiration. Duties: Advise Task Force on matters such as water resource availability, management, facilities and infrastructure, supply & constraints, and other technical, environmental, and professional subject matters as requested by the Task Force.
