The League of Cities Appoints Judge Edward Rodgers to the Commission on Ethics

Palm Beach County League of Cities
January 27, 2010

Eight former county elected officials applied for the League of Cities seat on the county's Commission on Ethics.  The candidates represented a wide range of government experience: two county commissioners, a  judge, a sheriff, and four municipal officials, including a past president of our League.

At its January 27th meeting, the Board of Directors held two rounds of voting, with the first round's top three vote getters advancing to the second round.  Judge Rodgers prevailed, becoming the League's representative on the newly created Commission.  His selection was ratified by General Membership at its meeting.

All were worthy candidates, and we thank you for your interest in serving your community.
