Our August meetings were hosted by the Town of Juno Beach in their beautiful Town Center. Thank you to the Town's staff and council for a great day, and to FPL for being the lunch sponsor.
We had our biggest turnout ever at the Mary V. MacDonald-Wilson Center at Gaines Park in West Palm Beach. State legislative candidates were invited to learn about issues affecting our municipalities.
Palm Springs welcomed the League of Cities as it hosted our monthly meetings and annual workshop. Thanks to everyone at Village Hall!
The City of Pahokee partnered with Southern Waste Systems, PNC Bank, and Lake Worth Drainage District to host us at the Lake Okeechobee Outpost. It was a beautiful day on the lake. Great turnout, great food, great view, and a great day to award some scholarships!
Even though we moved our meeting date, we had a full house at the Atlantis Country Club. There were a few new faces, newly elected municipal officials joining us for the first time. Just another busy meeting day with the League!
Our members are gearing up for the legislative season, using today's meeting to finalize their legislative agenda.
