County / Regional Committees
The League is represented on several state, regional and county committees and boards. Appointments are approved by the Board of Directors and must be ratified by both the League's General Membership and the committee's governing body. Members are notified of county/regional committee openings via e-mail notification to the municipal managers.

Committee Openings
Advisory Boundary Committee
Open to: All. Meetings: Third Thursdays, with occasional first Thursdays, 6:30 - 9 p.m. Term expires: 12/10. Duties: Assist district staff in working with the community to develop recommendations for establishment or adjustments to attendance boundaries that accommodate the opening of new schools, to ensure optimal facility utilization, and/or to accommodate space needs for program changes.
Independent Sales Surtax Oversight Committee (ISSOC)
Open to: All. Meetings: Quarterly, usually Wednesdays, 1:30 - 3 p.m. No term expiration: Duties: provides oversight of the District's usage and expenditures of the proceeds of the sales surtax to verify consistency with the projects and purposes set forth in the Resolution establishing the committee.
Land Development Regulation Advisory Board
Open to: Municipal officials and staff. Meetings: 4th Wednesdays, 2 - 4 p.m. Term expires: 2/11. Duties: Periodically review the provisions to the ULDC code that are not reviewed by another advisory board and to make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners for those provisions reviewed; to make its knowledge & expertise available upon written request and authorization of the BCC to any official, department, board, commission, or agency of Palm Beach County, Florida, or federal governments; to serve as Land Development Regulation Commission as provided by F.S. 163.3164(22) and F.S. 163.3194.
Water Resource Task Force - Regular and Alternate
Open to: Elected officials. Meetings: Every other month, 3rd Thursday, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. No term expiration. Duties: Identify/evaluate opportunities and impediments to providing future water supply, conservation, wastewater treatment, and reuse or reclaimed water opportunities that are most efficient and cost effective.
